turned on a road and normally if i step on it it would blow out all of the carbon. well this time it shut off. this happened in november. since then i have replaced ficm, icp sensor, ipr sensor, hpop, and fuel pump and none of it has worked. i am stumped. Ford 2005 F250 6.0 Diesel cranks but no start have checked fuel delivery, oil, fuel filters, glow plugs all heating up, not showing any codes on scanner, also checked fuel cut off switch. It was intermittently not starting and then would somehow start after waiting a while, now won't start at all.

My 2005 F350 6L Powerstroke diesel will not crank. Both batteries are new and starter/solenoid are new.

Both had new high pressure pumps (h-pop) installed. Rough start, no start, and rough running conditions often occur due to the FICM, or Fuel Injection Control Module. The FICM supplies 48 volts to the two solenoids that control oil flow to the fuel injector. Excessive heat from the engine and vibration can cause the FICM to overheat or fail.

Starts fine cold. When run for a while, I can shut it down and restart it immediately. But once it sits for  18 Oct 2009 so i have this 05 f250 6.0.
